The Sword at the Exit/In Nashville, TN 11/10/08

Just saw The Sword at the Exit/In in Nashville this evening. It was the first time we've seen them perform live and we were truly impressed. If this at all makes sense, The Sword looks and sounds like their logo. I suppose the best way to describe their music is "stoner metal," with mystical lyrics, heavy guitars and hard pounding rhythm. Listening to their music live, I see visions of Mœbius's Metal Hurlant in my head. Freya is an awesome song, plus I like the instrumentals a lot, great musicians - the show is full of energy... go see them LIVE. Here are photos from the show:
